LHU wins Shell Eco-marathon Asia 2019

LH-EST team from LHU has become the winner of the Urban Concept – Battery Electric category at the Shell Eco-marathon Asia 2019 with 170 kilometers per Kwh of electricity. This is the fifth championship title since LHU has participated in Shell Eco-marathon Asia. Nogogeni ITS team from Indonesia scooped the second with 169 km/kWh.

LH-EST team will also be able to qualify for the Drivers’ World Championship qualifier held in London in July

Shell Eco-marathon Asia 2019 took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from April 29 to May 2, attracting 123 teams from 18 countries and territories across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. Vietnam had 5 teams coming from 5 universities: Hanoi University of Industry, HCM City University of Technology and Education, Da Nang University of Science and Technology, Hanoi University of Transport and Communications and LHU. LH-EST team excellently defeated 66 teams to defend its championship title.
