In the morning of November 9, LHU Youth Union - Student Association in cooperation with Dong Nai province’s Red Cross Association and Cho Ray Regional Blood Transfusion and Haematology Center in Ho Chi Minh City held the 41st humanitarian blood donation program with the message "A drop of blood to give, a life to stay” (Mot giot mau cho di – Mot cuoc doi o lai).
Volunteers actively participated in the 41st blood donation program
This program is one of the annual activities of LHU Youth Union - Student Association, taking place in April and November. It is also a meaningful occasion for the University's teachers, staff and students to show their good deed for the community, contributing to providing blood sources to save people's lives.
Registered volunteers were checked health carefully before donating their blood
At the program, blood donors must follow steps such as registration, health check, rapid blood tests, blood donation, taking rest and receiving certificates.
Earlier at the 40th blood donation program, 232 units of blood were collected and provided to hospitals. Responding enthusiastically, about 300 volunteers including teachers, staff and students have signed up for the 41st blood donation program.
