LHU organized Career Orientation Program for high school students

In the morning of March 18, LHU in association with Bui Thi Xuan High School in Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan province organized Career Orientation Program for nearly 300 students of grade 12.

The program took place at campus 1 and campus 6 (the Center for Application and Scientific Research) of LHU. The program saw the attendance of Mr. Tran Tuan Anh - Deputy Manager of Education Department - Binh Thuan provincial Department of Education and Training, DSc. Lam Thanh Hien - Standing Vice Rector of LHU, Mr. Hoang Quoc Linh and Ms. Tran Thi Thuy Vy - Principal and Vice Principal of Bui Thi Xuan High School.

Pharmacy Faculty's Lecturer - LHU introduced Pharmacy major to high school students at medicine making-up room.

High school students were excited to make up pills.

Presently, many high school students are embarrassed in choosing careers by lack of basic information on careers, social needs as well as personal abilities and economic conditions. At the program, LHU arranged 20 practice areas representing for 20 training majors and "trial learning" experience. Here, the participants were instructed by LHU lecturers to join in practical subjects and work together to "try out the skill" to receive awards from the Organization Board. High school students were also excited to participate in activities at laboratories and workshops.

High school students were concentrated on lecturer's instruction.

Taking students to LHU over 200km, Principal Hoang Quoc Linh shared that "This period, many students are hesitant in choosing suitable careers. This is also the concern of both school and parents. We are delighted that LHU Management Board and our school have made a meaningful program that parents and students expected. This program helps our students have a visual look and easily shape their careers and abilities. Hopefully, this event also closes the tie between the two schools to be able to organize regular programs like this for students of 12th grade".

High school students joined in Water Treatment practice area.

LHU is an interdisciplinary and multi-level training education unit from Technological, Economic to Social fields, so this program is really practical, helping Bui Thi Xuan High School students identify their competencies and interests, understanding more about their personalities, and then having orientations for their suitable future careers.
