Ceremony to commemorate teachers

In the morning of January 30, the third day of Tet, a solemn ceremony was held at Tran Bien Temple of Literature to commemorate and honor predecessors and devoted teachers.  The annual event is co-organized by Bien Hoa city People’s Committee, Dong Nai Department of Education and Training and Temple of Literature Center.

The ceremony was attended by provincial Management Board, representatives from departments, agencies, Lac Hong University delegation including Meritorious Teacher Nguyen Thi Thu Lan - Vice Rector, Secretary of  Youth Union Le Son Quang, a great number of teachers and students at all levels and schools in Dong Nai province. Here, students joined in meaningful activities such as presenting flowers to teachers and burning incense to worship cultural well-known men.

The ceremony is held annually to preserve and develop the tradition of “Remembering the source when drinking water”.
