LHU established Viet Nam- Korea Friendship Association

Recently, at LHU Scientific Research and Application Center, Dong Nai province Union of Friendship Organizations and LHU Mobilization Board organized a ceremony to establish Viet Nam- Korea Friendship Association at LHU according to the Decision No.15/KH-HVH dated on October 21, 2016 signed by Dong Nai province Vietnam - Korea Friendship Association.

Mr. Pham Minh Dao - Chairman of Dong Nai province Vietnam - Korea Friendship Association (right, blue shirt) awarded the Decision of founding Viet Nam- Korea Friendship Association at LHU.

Attending the event were Mr. Pham Van Chien - The Chief of Dong Nai province Union of Friendship Organizations Secretariat, Mr. Pham Minh Dao - Chairman of Dong Nai province Vietnam - Korea Friendship Association, Ms. Le Thi Huong - Secretary of Dong Nai Vietnam - Korea Friendship Association, Meritorious Teacher Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan - LHU Vice Rector and Nguyen Huu Nghi, M.A - Vice Dean of Oriental Studies Faculty.

Mr. Pham Minh Dao delivered a speech telling the meaning of the establishment of Viet Nam- Korea Friendship Association at LHU.

The establishment of the Association aims to create a bridge for youth and students of LHU in particular and of Dong Nai in general and strengthen the understanding of countries' people and the province's foreign activities, contributing to exchanging and popularizing the image of the country and the locality to the world. Specifically, the Association speeds up the exchange of LHU students of Korean Studies and Korean friends and organizations.

Meritorious Teacher Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan - LHU Vice Rector made a congratulation speech at the program.

At the event, representative of Dong Nai province Vietnam - Korea Friendship Association passed the Decision to establish Viet Nam- Korea Friendship Branch at LHU. The Branch consists of four members including Mr. Nguyen Huu Nghi - Head, Ms. Nguyen Hoang Kim Ngan - Vice Head and two other members. After receiving the Decision, Mr. Nguyen Huu Nghi on behalf of the Executive Board officially passed duties and course of actions of Viet Nam- Korea Friendship Branch and also presented Viet Nam- Korea Friendship News.

The Vietnam - Korea Friendship Association has the function to connect political and social organizations, enterprises and people of two sides in order to speed up friendship and cooperation relation in the fields of economics, politics, culture, society, science, technology, education, tourism, environment, humanitarian aid,... thence opening more opportunities for students of Korean Studies to communicate and exchange with Korean organizations.
