Activities to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day

In the morning of November 18, LHU Youth Union - Student Association organized flower arranging competition and art performance in celebration of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day on November 20. The contest was a meaningful and practical activity in order to create a playground and an exchange place for all students at all levels. Specially, the competition was an occasion for students to show their gratitude to teachers.

The event took place at meeting hall A301, seeing the presence of Vice Rector Lam Thanh Hien, Secretary of Youth Union Le Son Quang, Chairman of Student Association Tran Tien, leaders of departments and units, teachers and more than 300 students.

Opening the event, representatives of Youth Union - Student Association presented fresh flowers to attending teachers.

The competition this year attracted the participation of 17 teams at flower arranging category and 18 items from 10 Union units at art performance category.

After three hours of competition, for flower arranging category, the organizers presented 1 first, 1 second, 1 third and 3 consolation prizes to Faculty of Oriental Studies - Class 11DH111, Faculty of Pharmacy - Class 13DS120, Faculty of Mechatronics - Electronics - Class 15TD111, Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Faculty of Chemical and Environmental Engineering and Faculty of English Language, respectively.

At art performance category, the first prize was awarded to the team of Faculty of International Business Administration, the second prize to LHU Art Performance Club and 2 third prizes to Faculty of Mechatronics - Electronics and Faculty of English Language.

After the competition ended, representatives of wining teams presented wining products and congratulations to teachers to show their gratitude.
