Lac Hong Robot teams ready for Robocon Vietnam 2015

In the morning of May 5, three Robocon teams of Lac Hong University gathered at a launching ceremony to prepare for Robocon Vietnam 2015 which will be held in Can Tho city on May 12 to 17. The ceremony was attended by Rector People's Teacher Dr. Do Huu Tai - Chairman of the Trustees Board, Vice Rector Dr. Diep Cam Thu - Chairman of Trade Union, Vice Rector Lam Thanh Hien, M.A - Head of Robocon delegation, Head of Administrative Affairs Department Tran Minh Man, Leaders of units and members of Robocon teams.

Participating in the qualifier round, Lac Hong University had six teams. Accordingly, three teams namely LH –VBV; LH – SEED and LH – LION were chosen for the Robocon Vietnam 2015.

At the 2014 Robocon Vietnam, Lac Hong University teams took first and second places at the final.

Speaking at the ceremony, Rector Do Huu Tai expressed his wish that Robocon delegation this year would continue to bring honor to the University and Dong Nai province. He also made careful recommendations to Robocon teams. Hopefully, Lac Hong Robocon teams will continue to reap great success at Robocon Vietnam 2015.

After this launching ceremony, Lac Hong Robot delegation burnt incenses at Tran Bien Temple of Literature. The delegation will start going to Can Tho this afternoon. In order to encourage Lac Hong Robocon teams, nearly 300 staff have registered to present at Can Tho city at semi and final rounds.
