The 7th Vietnam Conference on Mechatronics to be opened

In the morning of November 21, the 7th Vietnam Conference on Mechatronics (VCM 2014) was opened at LHU. The event co-organized by the Vietnam Mechatronics Community in cooperation with Lạc Hong University, Amata Industrial Park, Saigon Hi-Tech Park,... took place in two days November 21 and 22. Member of Central Standing Committee - Head of the Propaganda and Education Commission at Dong Nai Party Committee Huynh Van Toi attended the conference.

Dr. Huynh Van Toi delivered a speech at the conference opening ceremony.

The event saw the attendance of more than 120 domestic and foreign scientists, researchers and postgraduates. Rector of Lac Hong University People's Teacher Dr. Do Huu Tai - Co-chair of VCM 2014 said from 174 initial papers, through critic and screening processes, the Organizing Committee had selected 99 excellent ones to be presented at this conference.

The conference is held every two years. This 7th conference includes three key objectives - building a forum for technology science exchange and cooperation for experts, managers, enterprises inside and outside the country in mechatronics field; introducing new research outcomes and applied products in practice and finally strengthening the link between "Research - train - produce" in mechatronics field.
