More than 400 blood units donated

Implementing Youth Union missions 2014 - 2015, in the morning of  October 17, at campus 3, Lac Hong University Youth Union - Student Association in cooperation with  Dong Nai province’s Red Cross Association and Cho Ray Regional Blood Transfusion and Haematology Centre launched the 33rd humanitarian blood donation program. The program was also held to mark the 83 years of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - 2014) and the 15th anniversary of voluntary youth movement.

The blood program themed "A drop of blood, Millions of heart" is an occasion for LHU teachers and students to show their good deed for the community, contributing to providing blood sources to save people's lives. This is the second turn in 2014 the University organized the blood donation program. Earlier in March, over 300 units of blood were collected and provided to hospitals.

402 units of blood were donated at the 33rd blood donation program.

Responding enthusiastically, more than 500 volunteers have signed up for this program. As a result, over 400 units of blood were collected at the event.
