Lac Hong robot delegation returned in triumph

In the morning of August  27 at 09:15 a.m, Lac Hong University's Management Board and members were present at Tan Son Nhat airport to welcome Dong Nai-based Lac Hong robocon delegation home after winning at 2014 ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest held in Pune, India. The welcome ceremony also saw the attendance of representatives of Dong Nai provincial Management Board.

Tan Son Nhat airport was full of flowers, flags and praises for the champion of International Robocon 2014.

The winner of the 13th ABU Asia-Pacific Robocon was warmly welcomed at the airport.

Vice Chairman of Dong Nai provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Tri spoke in the event to praise efforts and achievements made by Lac Hong robot team. The achievement is really meaningful when the country is marking the August Revolution of 1945. It also satisfies thousands of Vietnam people's expectations and wishes and Lac Hong University’s in particular.

The delegation burned incenses at Tran Bien Temple of Literature.

The ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest organized by Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union intends for technical and engineering students in the region. Through the contest's 13-year history, Vietnam has been one of the most successful countries by winning the contest in 2002, 2004 and 2006, and achieving a deep run into the contest many times. After seven years of expectation, Vietnam again impressively triumphs at this contest.

Chief of LHU robocon delegation Lam Thanh Hien reported outstanding achievement at Tran Bien Temple of Literature.

Vice Rector Lam Thanh Hien - Chief of robocon delegation also added at the event "Based on the previous achievements, the ABU Organization Board acknowledged Vietnam as one of the six seed teams. In the final competition, Vietnam was the only team to win outstanding victory in all rounds. Vietnam team excellently defeated Japan team - the current champion at the second 47/180 and won the contest".

On behalf of Dong Nai province’s Management Board, Nguyen Thanh Tri congratulated and presented flowers to LHU robot delegation.
