Lac Hong Robocon teams to be commended

In the morning of June 10, Lac Hong Robocon teams were unexpectedly honored at a solemn ceremony to close emulation movements marking 60th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory (May 7, 1954 - 2014) and the 66th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s Calling for Patriotic Emulation (June 11, 1948 –  20134) .The event took place at Dong Nai Convention and Events Center.

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Secretary of Dong Nai Party Committee - Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee - Chairman of Provincial Emulation and Commendation Council Dinh Quoc Thai; representatives of the Central Emulation and Commendation Council; leaders of departments, agencies and localities; leaders of Tien Giang, Long An, Ba Ria - Vung Tau provinces and Ho Chi Minh city. LHU delegation led by Vice Rector Lam Thanh Hien including representatives of Mechatronics - Electronics Faculty, Scientific Research Dept. Administrative Affairs Dept, International Business Administration Faculty, instructors and members of Robocon teams attended the ceremony.

Chairman of provincial Confederation of Labor Huynh Tuan Kiet bestowed merit to 4 robocon teams of LHU.

At the ceremony, provincial People's Committee unexpectedly awarded certificates of merit to four excellent robocon teams of Lac Hong University for its defending the championship title successfully and gaining many outstanding achievements at 2014 Robocon Vietnam as follow

- LH-NVN - Champion and Best Solution prize

- LH_DCN - Second prize and Best Technology 

- LH-Q - Best Automatic Machine 

- LH-112 - Best Idea

On the occasion, the Dong Nai provincial People's Committee commended 31 collectives and 32 individuals for their excellent achievements in emulation movements marking the 60th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory. In addition, the Central Emulation and Commendation Council awarded campaign medals "For the Emulation and Commendation" to five outstanding individuals of Dong Nai province.

In his part, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai People’s Committee Tran Minh Phuc praised outstanding achievements made by individuals and collectives for their active contributions to national development. He also stressed that in the coming time, the whole province must continue to grasp thoroughly and uphold patriotic emulation spirit of President Ho Chi Minh so as to promote creativity, active actions, great contributions to the country's growth. To make this, patriotic emulation movements have to cement with specific actions not speeches.
