FFA Organizes 2025 Scientific Council Meeting: Innovating Training Programs with a Practical Orientation

On the afternoon of June 16, 2025, at Room B203 – Campus 1 of Lac Hong University, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting held its 2025 Scientific Council Meeting. The event aimed to evaluate and provide constructive feedback on the training programs of the Faculty’s academic disciplines, with the objective of enhancing training quality and reinforcing practical applicability to meet the increasing demands of businesses and banks.

The meeting was attended by members of the Faculty’s Scientific Council, faculty leaders, lecturers, and administrative staff. Opening the program, a representative of the Faculty’s leadership delivered a keynote speech emphasizing the crucial role of updating academic programs in the context of rapid socio-economic changes and the growing demand for high-quality human resources in the labor market.

The meeting continued with a series of academic presentations: Mr. Bui Van Thuy (M.A.) presented the curriculum for the Finance – Banking program; Ms. Nguyen Thi Bach Tuyet introduced the curriculum for the Logistics and Supply Chain Management program; and Ms. Ly Thi Thu Hien delivered a report on the Accounting program. These presentations highlighted the strengths, recent updates, and development directions of each program, reflecting the Faculty’s commitment to improving learning outcomes and increasing the practical relevance of its training.

The following discussion session was lively and insightful, with valuable contributions from Council members. Feedback focused on enhancing curriculum structure, updating course content in line with technological trends and digital transformation, and strengthening the connection between academia and industry in the training process.

The 2025 Scientific Council Meeting of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting not only served as a platform for reviewing and assessing current training programs but also marked a strategic step in the Faculty’s efforts to reform higher education, improve training quality, and affirm its position within Vietnam’s educational system.
