Students of Logistics and Supply Chain Management learn from real-life experience at Tan Cang - Long Binh ICD Company.

On the morning of March 19, 2024, students of Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Lac Hong University had a meaningful learning experience during their visit to Tan Cang - Long Binh ICD Joint Stock Company.

With the aim of enhancing knowledge and understanding of operational processes and supply chain management in a real-world environment, approximately 50 students had the opportunity to engage with advanced activities and technologies at one of the leading enterprises in this field in Vietnam.

During the visit program, students were provided detailed guidance on the procedures of importing and exporting goods, warehouse management, transportation, and factors influencing the operational efficiency of an international container port. They also directly observed daily operational activities, from cargo loading and unloading processes to security checks and handling of hazardous goods.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Bach Tuyet, Head of Logistics and Supply Chain Management Department at Lac Hong University, shared: "This field trip provides students with a valuable opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations. Direct exposure to the work environment and leading experts in the industry will help them better understand the challenges and opportunities in the field of Logistics and Supply Chain Management."

This is one of the extracurricular activities highly valued by students for its applicability and practicality, helping them better prepare for their future careers in the industry.
