    Lhu career fair 2025

    MPOWERING CAREERS, ADVANCING SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

DONG NAI, VIETNAM – May 17, 2025 - Held at Lac Hong University (LHU), the LHU Career Fair 2025 went far beyond a conventional recruitment event. It served as a strategic platform fostering multi-stakeholder partnerships among academia, industry, and community, directly contributing to SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals. As one of the university’s most anticipated annual events, especially among final-year students, this year’s edition returned with enhanced scope and innovations, reaffirming LHU’s institutional commitment to youth empowerment, sustainable education, and inclusive community engagement.

A Holistic Approach to Employability and Future Readiness

Under the theme “Your Career, Your Way”, the fair attracted over 50 companies and provided 2,400+ job opportunities across diverse sectors, including technology, engineering, logistics, finance, media, and customer service. Nearly 700 LHU students registered for on-site interviews, joined by students from surrounding universities and colleges, expanding recruitment diversity in line with SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities.

A noteworthy innovation was the integration of a career orientation experience program for 300 high school students, allowing them to engage directly with industry leaders, learn about emerging job trends, and explore essential digital-era skills and self-discovery strategies. Additionally, students toured the campus, explored scholarship options, and learned about part-time work opportunities, promoting public access to quality education beyond traditional university enrollment—a key indicator within SDG 4: Quality Education, specifically metrics on lifelong learning and pre-university outreach.

Lifelong Learning and Sustainable Career Guidance

The event’s highlight was the integration of recruitment with sustainable career development initiatives:

    • - Talkshow: “Professional Communication Skills in the Workplace”

    • - Free professional CV photo service

    • - Workshop: “AI-Powered CV Building”

    • - Voice training program: “The Art of Vocal Empowerment”

    • - CSR Exhibition: Showcasing companies' Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices.

These activities reflect LHU’s strategic investment in lifelong learning—a core target under SDG 4.3 and 4.4—while the CSR exhibition aligns with SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities through promoting sustainable practices and responsible corporate participation in academia.

Further emphasizing SDG 1: No Poverty, nearly VND 50 million in scholarships were awarded to financially disadvantaged students, reducing economic barriers to education. Even students who did not secure employment during the fair gained invaluable career readiness skills, strengthening their future employability and supporting SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth.

    Strategic Partnerships for Impactful Education

The LHU Career Fair 2025 exemplifies multi-sectoral collaboration among universities, industry, and the broader community—an essential strategy to advance SDG 17. By cultivating dynamic links between academia and the workforce, LHU proactively fosters an inclusive, sustainable academic ecosystem in alignment with SDG 11, notably within the “Sustainable Practices” sub-metric of THE Impact Rankings.

The fair’s diverse activities—from career guidance for high school students, to skill development for undergraduates, to direct job placements—demonstrate LHU’s strong commitment to stewardship and community outreach. These actions transcend traditional teaching by embedding sustainability into the institution’s educational philosophy and operational framework.

Through the LHU Career Fair 2025, Lac Hong University continues to assert its leadership in shaping a sustainability-driven higher education model. This flagship event is not merely a job fair—it is a living manifestation of LHU’s vision to develop future-ready individuals and build a more equitable, resilient, and sustainable society.
